Late Night Flow | Creative Minds

I've always been told I should sleep earlier, it's good for my health. Of course I agree; sleep is amazing but what people don't understand is that the late hours past midnight are my most creative hours. It's when the night is the most calm and quiet. It's a time for me to just be with myself. While the world falls fast asleep, I'm up alone with a pen and paper writing down every creative thought that comes to mind. I use to be afraid of the night, I use to think the night was full of monsters and terror. But as the older I get, the more I see beauty in the night. I see the stars twinkling in the sky, the clouds playing hide and seek with the moon and I hear the peaceful echoes of the wind. I'm so thankful for the night because it reminds me of how creative I am, which is a beautiful thing to embrace. Creativity was something I use to always hide about myself; being a perfectionist I never believed my creative thoughts were good enough for anyone. Then I realized that being creative isn't for others... it's for myself, it's a way for me to express my thoughts, my passions and my dreams. It doesn't matter if others don't see what you see or appreciate what you create, all the matters is that you find an outlet that allows you to express yourself openly, honestly, and freely. Youtube found me and I will always be thankful for that. I love creating content and coming up with new ideas and ways to present my work.

As I sit here at my kitchen table in the middle of the night I think of all the dreams that I am dreaming and all the ideas I want to bring to life. You don't always have to be asleep in order to dream.

Truthfully this post has no point, but it's almost 1am and my mind if flowing with so many beautiful thoughts and ideas and I just wanted to share the process with you guys. Hope you enjoyed reading, and let me know in the comments what your creative outlet is. How do you express yourself?

Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Mascara Review

Hi my little flowers,

Today I'm doing a review of the NEW Roller Lash Mascara from Benefit Cosmetics. I've been using this mascara for a few months now and all I can say is WOW! I'm seriously so impressed with the formula of this mascara, it's like a super-curling mascara. The innovative patent pending hook design of the wand hooks, lifts and curls my lashes giving them an amazing wide-open eye look. Since it has this amazing curling effect you don't need to curl your lashes anymore which is awesome because I hate curling my lashes; so I can finally say goodbye to the dreaded eyelash curler. Speaking of curlers, the brush was molded after hair curlers hence the name Roller Lash; clever right? The wand has these tiny hooks that grab onto your lashes which is how it's able to lift and curl your lashes- basically a roller for your lashes!

Benefit Cosmetics is known for their amazing mascaras and adorable packaging and they definitely didn't let us down with the new Roller Lash Mascara. I'm obsessed with the mascara and I'm also obsessed with the packaging. It has a sleek black tube with the mascara name written in a pale orange/pinkish color with a cute cursive font and then the handle part has this diamond texture in the same pale orange/pinkish color.

This mascara is perfect for all types of lashes! Yes girl, I'm not playing, it really is! I have very short, barley there kind of lashes but after using this mascara my lashes look amazing! I haven't been wearing false lashes because I love how long this mascara makes my eyelashes look. I think it's really the power of the curl that gives the illusion of longer lashes, and I've been testing this mascara out for a while now and I can confidently say that this mascara can hold a curl for 12 hours!!! Insane right?! Here are a few pictures of the mascara plus my lashes... just remember I have very short lashes and look at what this mascara is able to do for me, especially in the first picture...

Overall, I definitely recommend trying out this mascara. Stop by your local Benefit Cosmetics counter or even check out their website to get your hands on this hot new product; Roller Lash Mascara. I'm kinda sad I'm almost out of mine already, gotta head to the store so I can stock up on some more. I'm interested to hear your guys' thoughts, have you tried this mascara yet? If so, share your thoughts in the comments below! I can't wait to read them! Thanks so much for stopping by to read my review, hope you found it helpful and if you have any more questions about this mascara feel free to leave me a comment and I'll get back to you as soon as possible! Love you!

Living In A Fairytale Dream

Hi my little flowers,

Yesterday I got to do a fun little photo shoot with my best friend Crystal at Presidio Park. It was such a beautiful location hidden in the heart of San Diego; it was a quiet spot with a beautiful view. This is definitely a location I recommend if you're looking to do a photo shoot without worrying about the crowds. The inspiration for this shoot came from one of my favorite Disney movies Cinderella, but I wanted to put my own twist to it so you know mama flower had to bring out the flower headbands.

I felt so whimsical in this outfit; obviously this isn't my every day style but deep inside I wish I dressed like this every single day. The beautiful tulle skirt was a gift and the whole inspiration for this shoot. I decided to keep the rest of the outfit light so it wouldn't take away the focus of the skirt, so I paired it with a white top and nude heels and finished off with a very whimsical flower headband with light pastel colors to play along with the color of the skirt.

Skirt: Shabby Apple, Top: Target, Heels: Forever 21, Flower Headband: Triple Lyns Boutique
